Carmaine Demby Dickerson, CFSGM
Owner and Vice President of Operations, Carmaine Demby Dickerson began her career at Demby & Son Funeral Home in January 2006. Obtaining her funeral director's license in 2015, she became a member of the National Funeral Directors and Morticians Association and Louisiana Funeral Directors and Morticians Association, where she currently serves as the state's President. She also serves on the Louisiana State Board of Funeral Directors and Morticians Laws and Rules Committee.
Carmaine graduated the National General Managers Academy in August 2024. Carmaine is a member of the Donaldsonville Area Chamber of Commerce currently serving as Vice President for the past 6 years. Carmaine is a 1999 Graduate of Donaldsonville High School and serves as her class' President. Mrs. Dickerson is the wife of Andrew S. Dickerson, Jr. grandmother of Sevyn Micah and Oak'lyn Cassan Banks, and mother of Ty'Jah Trist'Yon Jai’ Kel, Cameron Micah, and Y’Kius J'Ky Banks, along with 6 bonus children; Asterique, Alyx, Andrew, III, Andre, Adre'Ona, and Avery Dickerson., 2 great danes; DJango and Patsey Hailey, and an American shorthair Stephen.
Courtney A. Johnson, CFSP, CFSGM, CCO
Courtney, a native of Homer, Louisiana, is a 2013 graduate of the Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service in Houston, Texas. He holds multiple certifications, including Certified Funeral Service Practitioner (CFSP), Certified Funeral Service General Manager (CFSGM), and Certified Crematory Operator (CCO). Notably, he also serves on the Louisiana State Board of Embalmers & Funeral Directors Laws and Rules Committee.
Courtney is a member of numerous professional associations, including the International Cemetery, Cremation & Funeral Association, National Funeral Directors & Morticians Association, Inc., 40 & Under Funeral Directors, Louisiana Funeral Directors & Morticians Association, Inc., Academy of Professional Funeral Service Practice, The Funeral Service Institute, Louisiana Funeral Directors Association, and National Funeral Directors Association.
Furthermore, Courtney is a member of the NAACP, Masonic Lodge (PHA), Order of Eastern Star, and Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.
In his leisure time, Courtney engages in various activities such as fishing, traveling, bowling, and music.

Zan is a proud graduate of Southern University Class of 2007 with a Applied Science degree in Mortuary science and a 2023 graduate of Southern University A&M College with a bachelor degree in Accounting. I am a Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer since 2008. I'm currently the Mortician and Assistant Manager at Richardson Funeral Home of Clinton, LA . Lazandra is the mother of three young adults Precious (LaMond), Cameron (Trinity) and Mackenzie; and grand mother of three granddaughters Loryn, Lalia, and Zoey. I am a active member is a member of The Louisiana Funeral Directors and Morticians Association where I serve as executive secretary, The National Funeral Directors and Morticians Association, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated Mu Zeta Chapter Baton Rouge, LA. Esther Grand Chapter Order of Eastern Star Prince Hall Affiliated Pride of Norwood #127 where I serve as secretary.

Junear is a licensed Funeral Director and Mortician and has been employed at Jenkins Funeral Home since March 1980. She is also the assistant manager of both locations. Junear has a class C Insurance License and is always willing to assist those in need.

A third generation funeral director and embalmer at Jenkins Funeral Home in Mansfield, LA. I have been licensed in the state of Louisiana since 2014. I am a graduate mansfield high school in Mansfield,LA. I received my bachelor's of science in Business Management and Entrepreneurship from Louisiana Tech University in May 2012 and my associates of applied science in Funeral Service from Dallas Institute of Funeral Service in November 2013. I believe in showing love and giving to my community. I am a football coach at mansfield middle school and a member of Magnolia Highland Baptist church of Mansfield. I am a member of Groove Phi Groove Social fellowship Inc. and the Beacon Light #110 Masonic lodge of mansfield. I have been a part of the LFDMA and NFDMA for my entire life. This organization means family to me and I am proud to serve now as Chairman of the Board for LFDMA.
Samuel Booker, Jr. CFSP
Samuel is a 2007 graduate of Gupton-Jones College of Mortuary Science in Decatur, GA. He is also the owner of S.L. Booker Services, LLC., a graphic design and consulting firm. Samuel is an active member of the Baton Rouge Funeral Directors and Morticians Association, Louisiana Funeral Directors and Morticians Association,Mississippi Funeral Directors and Morticians Association, National Funeral Directors and Morticians Association, Inc., Tuskegee Airman, INC; Precious Jewel #108 of Ponchatoula vas well as A. Ralph Slaughter #93 Holy Royal Arch Masons and the Academy of Professional Funeral Service Practice.
He is a licensed funeral director and embalmer in the states of Georgia, Louisiana and Mississippi.
Although Samuel has no biological children of his own, he is the proud father of Mr. Tyler D. Gilreath. He also has several other adopted and loving kids that he calls his own.

Bishop Rodney McFarland I, CFSP
He received his secondary education at Crowville High School and from there he went on to Worsham College in Chicago, Ill where he received a degree in Mortuary Science. April of 2024, he received a Master of Theology and Religious Studies from Hope Bible institutes of Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Bishop McFarland is the former President of the Louisiana Funeral Directors and Morticians Association where he served as the youngest President ever to be elected,
being so by his colleagues across the state of Louisiana in 1995. He has served a 2-year term as a board member of the National Funeral Directors and Morticians Association
and is the Founder and Mortician of McFarland Funeral Companies of Delhi and Monroe, Louisiana, and Founder of Morning Rest Memorial Gardens of Tallulah, Louisiana. He was also the first Black Assistant Coroner of Richland Parish. He is a lifetime member of the Sigma Phi Sigma Fraternity (Mortuary Fraternity), President of the Theta Chapter of Epsilon Nu Delta Fraternity (Embalmer Fraternity). Former members of the American Society of Embalmers and the British Institute of Embalmers of the United Kingdom. He serves as Grand Chaplain of the MW Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Louisiana, District Deputy Grand Master of the 11th , 12th, 13th, & 14th Masonic Districts, Past Master of Trinity Lodge # 175 F&AM, PHA. On the political level, he is the former District 5 Monroe City School Board Member and served as President of the School Board for three consecutive years. He is the former Chairman of the Ouachita Parish emocratic Executive Committee and was a 2008, 2012, 2016 and 2020 Elected Delegate to the National Democratic Convention. On March 23, 2024, he was elected as a Councilman for the District 4 of Monroe, Louisiana, where he is now the Vice-Chairman of the Monroe City Council. He was appointed by Governor John Bel Edwards in March of 2017 to Louisiana State Board of Embalmers and Funeral Directors, were he served as President of the State Board for the years of 2021 and 2022. Many have applied the message of his teachings to their lives through his ministry and are now enjoying the crown of success through the fruits of the Holy Spirit. Being called to the ministry means, he is Christ-like, which means he is an enemy of sin and a lover of sinners. He has persuaded many to receive his message and to accept Christ as their personal Savior. He is the husband of Nikki V. Wade-McFarland, the father of six wonderful children, Rev. Rodney McFarland, Jr., Quinton R. McFarland, Dr. Millicent M. McFarland, Tony Potts, Christopher Wheeler and Andres McFarland, grandfather of eleven, and Godfather of too many to name.
Lydell L. Scott, D.Min.
Rev. Dr. Lydell Lorenzo Scott is a native of Monroe, Louisiana. He is the son of the late Ross Sherman Scott and the late Victoria Hill Scott. He is a graduate of Carroll High School in Monroe, Louisiana and Dallas Institute of Funeral Service in Dallas, Texas. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Organizational Management from Wiley University in Marshall, Texas, a Master of Divinity Degree from Payne Theology Seminary in Wilberforce, Ohio, and a Doctor of Ministry Degree from Southern Methodist University Perkins School of Theology in Dallas, Texas. He is a self-employed independent contractor. Dr. Scott is the Pastor of Greater New Bethel AME Church, Springhill, La. Dr. Scott was Ordained Itinerant Elder in the African Methodist Episcopal Church in 1993, by the late Bishop Robert Thomas, Jr. Dr. Scott has served several churches in the Central North Louisiana Conference. He was Chairman, CEO of Bethel Apartments, Inc. for four years.
Dr. Scott served as conference secretary for eight years. He’s served as Dean of Board of Examiners, CNLC; Currently serving as Chair. He is a life member of Delta Upsilon Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., a member of Louisiana Funeral Directors & Morticians Association, Inc., is National Board Certified and Louisiana State Board Certified Mortician (Embalmer & Funeral Director). He is married to Adrienne Treadway Scott and they are the parents of Lydell Lorenzo Scott II. Dr. Scott has a love for people, church, and administration. He desires to utilize his gifts for helping families during their most challenging time by offering grief care, sharing the Word of God, and organizing programs of the church to function fully and be more communal minded (with an emphasis on spiritual formation and spiritual direction). His favorite scriptures are: Psalm 119:165(KJV) Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them. Matthew 7:12(NIV) So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.
Alecia Nychole Smith
Alecia N. Smith has been walking in the spirit of servanthood her entire adult life. From childcare to youth mentoring and public service, she has been a pillar in Claiborne Parish. She served the Town of Homer as Mayor for 4.5 years, bringing more infrastructure, community unity, and youth involvement.
A proud graduate of Our Lady of the Lake College, Southern University, and Grambling State University, she holds a Bachelor in Hospital Administration and a Master of Public Administration and will be pursuing her PhD in the coming year.
Alecia Smith is a Licensed Missionary in the Church of God in Christ, and she owns a Marketing Consultant Business, Smith Management Services. Alecia is married to Chief Anthony Smith of Haynesville, LA. They share three children in their loving union: Lafaye, Keith, and Kevin, and two wonderful grandchildren: Quinlan and Chesli.
She is currently employed at Memorial Funeral Homes of North Louisiana where she is a Licensed Funeral Director and the Administrative Office Manager. Memorial Funeral Home services 6 location in North Louisiana: Homer, Arcadia, Ringgold, Plain Dealing, Cullen and Farmerville.
